Flag Party
Ceremony of the Flags (C of F)
The distinctly Canadian Ceremony of the Flags was originally created and performed by the Royal Canadian Navy in 1967 to celebrate Canada’s Centennial. The national flag of Canada and the flags of each province and territory are paraded together in a celebration of nationhood.
Every year, a select group of cadets gets to proudly bear the flags on parade for the Annual Ceremonial Review. Two Cadets carry flags that are escorted by three Cadets who will carry drill rifles, a symbol of the protection and value we give our flags.
